FERRUMOX BEYOND BRUTE FORCE SCALING.
Ferrumox advances AI through more efficient models, systems and methods, driven by better ideas rather than brute force scale.

01 / MISSION
AN OPEN LETTER FROM SPAIN.
Europe will not achieve technological sovereignty by regulating systems created elsewhere.
We must be able to understand artificial intelligence, investigate new ideas and turn them into technology of our own. Not to isolate ourselves from the world, but to participate in it with knowledge, capability and judgement.
Ferrumox was born in Spain from that conviction. We research models and techniques that can move the frontier forward. We build systems that prove those ideas beyond the page. And we share what we learn so that more people can build upon it.
Sovereignty does not mean doing everything alone. It means having the capacity to choose, to build and to contribute.
That is the laboratory we intend to build.
02 / RESEARCH THESIS
We investigate how better architectures, inference systems, evaluation methods and ways of working can expand what AI can do while preserving human agency.
Can better architectures achieve more with less compute?
⌁How can advanced models run under real memory and latency constraints?
◇How do we evaluate progress through reproducible experiments?
∿How should people organize, decide and learn while building AI together?
◎03 / PROJECTS
LOCAL INFERENCE ENGINE
An efficient inference engine designed to make advanced language models faster, private and controllable.
EXTREME MODEL STREAMING
An experiment in running immense mixture of experts models under severe hardware constraints.
04 / EDUCATION
Ferrumox Academy prepares people to build, secure and deploy real AI systems. Sovereignty needs builders.
05 / FOUNDER
“Europe should not remain a spectator of the intelligence revolution. We must help build what comes next.”
Ferrumox was founded and is led by Manuel S. Lemos. His work connects research, engineering and education around one long term mission: build technological capability from Spain.

OPEN CHANNEL / HELLO@FERRUMOX.COMWe work with researchers, engineers, institutions and builders who want Europe to build, not only consume, the future of AI.
